Today, daddy brought us to a pet store for some grooming session. Of course, me being Benji, I don't really enjoy these sessions as I am scared of the blower as well as other dogs who barks at me fearcely. As for my sista, this is her first grooming session so she just enjoy everything excitedly. Here is a picture of us after the session. Nice and smart!

We are having a countdown party @ our neighbourhood tonight so we invited BJ and Billy to our place for the party as well as to assist to do some obedient stage show.

As all the boys around... my sista Jolie can't join us and have to stay in the cage... she gonna miss all the fun... Haahaaa...

Since our show only starts at 8:30pm, we hang around at our tent. Lots of kids drop by at our tent to sayang us. We especially like the cheerleaders...

At 8:30pm, we are @ the center stage, doing some obedient demo and some tricks and hey, the crowd likes us...
After the demo, we just hang around waiting for the stroke of midnight with our party hats.
We had lots of fireworks but of course I'm not enjoying it at all!

Today, mummy and daddy keep telling me that I have to be extra extra obedient today - I don't know why but right after lunch, mummy and daddy brought me to a brand new place - Han Chiang Indoor Stadium alone without Jolie. When I reach, I smell so many new furry friends there so I thought it was a new playground so I got really excited but then...

Daddy why you tie me here? I want to go down & play!
And what is mummy doing over there?
Later... What on earth are we waiting for mummy? Can I go down to the 'playground'
After a long wait, and seeing doggy friends taking turns going down the 'playground', it's my turn but errr... mummy shout 'work work'. (She shouting because the place is so noisy). What? Huh? This is no playground? Damn... I followed mummy VERY reluctantly...
We gone thru some routines... then some group stays and about 1 hour later mummy say 'Good boy, done done, let's go play play'. YIPPIE! We went out to check out the huge school then is back to the stadium to wait again... seriously what are we waiting for?
About an hour later, daddy told me I pass my Pre-Novice Trial! OMG? Just now was an exam! Still in shock, I'm presented with a small medal and a certificate and happily make our way home - I got lots to tell Jolie.
When I reach home, daddy show me my score?
Heal on Leash: 23/30
Stand Stay: 6/10
Recall: 17/20
Sit Stay: 20/20
Down Stay: 20/20
Total: 86/100

Mummy said I did so-so in my heal work. She scold me for checking out the cute cone during 'figure 8'. Can't help it, I haven't seen such thing before. For my stand-stay seriously, err... mummy don't know what I did wrong. Of course I screw-up my recall! When mummy say 'come', I ran pass mummy thinking of going to grandma but when I heard mummy shout I quickly U-turn and sit infront of her. Gosh everyone in the stadium laugh. The stays is of no problem to me. In fact mummy is please with me as half way thru our down stay routine, the doggy on my right came over to check me out and I still remain down ignoring the new friend... sorry pal. Overall, for a first timer, hey I think I did ok and had lots of fun.

I'm always a good biggy brother to my smally sista. So today, I'm going to make a lovely surprise for me sista to celebrate her barkday... of course with the help from mummy...
Firstly, lets make some french fries (kiddo likes them)...
Second, next stir fry some carrots and brussel sprouts...
Then, cook the beef - err mummy, I prefer medium well so don't over cook it...
Next, tomatoes, I prefer it raw so just dice to bite size please mummy. (my sista prefer everything to be small bite size!)
Then, patiently wait......for the food to cool down before serving it in a bowl...
Nah sista, this is your barkday present... Happy barkday!

Today, we have TRIPPLE celebration! We celebrating my beLated barkday, Daddy's barkday and Jolie beEarly barkday! Check out, our barkday cake!

Looks very nice and lovely right? Ping Ping's mummy (Animalerie & Pawtisserie) baked this for us and she is so creative and lots of patient to design something like this for us. Thanks you very much!

Then mummy divided the cake & this part is mine... oh btw, this cake is a green pea, salmon and kampung chicken with flaxseed cake. Very healthy and hey, all the colors is 100% natural!

6am today, daddy woke us up and told us that we are going to the orchard! WOW! I'm so excited but my baby sista still blur blur half asleep. "Woof, sis, come on, you gonna miss the fun if you don't get into the car now!"
An hour later, we arrived at the orchard. We could hear durians dropping everywhere... left... then right... and we ran after it.
We had a good harvest today...
And after a morning of hard work, it's time for a hearty durian breakfast! We ate so much that we are so full and tired...
About 2 hours later... daddy announced that we are going home.
Benji: "Sis, aren't you glad that we are here? Just look at this place. It's like heaven here with such big place to run and so much goodies to eat". Jolie: "Can't we just stay here?"
Benji: "Nope, but I'm sure we will be back next year"

As she is still young, a lot of the time when I say something, Benji responded to the command and Jolie will look and follow. Tonight, she is looking up and down for Benji. Poor girl.

Today is Jolie's first swimming outing with family.
When we arrive, my brother got very excited but I still don't know what am I expecting so when I saw my brother jumps into the water I just follows and OOPSS... I panic! Lucky daddy is there to save me.

And later with encouragement from mummy and daddy, I try again and hey, I can swim!

Mummy and daddy brought us to a park today. We are helping K9 Pets Dog Training School to do some OB demo for an event called 'Let's Pro & Care' organised by some students in UKM @ Taman Cempaka Bangi. It was a nice big park but too bad, they only allow dogs today! It was a small event, only BJ, Potter and us was there but we had lots of fun there. We did some OB demo the public and show some tricks and the crowd loves us. Sorry, no pictures taken because mummy is working with me and daddy is working with Jolie and no one is available to take some pictures for us. After the demo, we hang around the place and here are some pix of us chilling out...

Unbelievable news!
We went to collect Jolie's birth cert today and as usual mummy files all our documents together. As she is filing, she notice something...
Benji's father's father and Jolie's mother's father is the same!!! What? Me & Jolie related? No way!!! We are brought from different breeder that is very far apart and and and... the same! I can't accept this! I'm not related to that naughty Jolie! Good night!

This few days mummy is very frustrated with me and my baby sista. Here's why...

WE ARE WET! Not entirely because of rain, it is because we play 'bite bite' and we are all wet of our saliva!!! Mummy don't like this because: -
1) it makes us very very smelly
2) we will develop red spots later due to the wet condition
3) all our furs will tangle up
But hey, that's not our problem all we care is to have fun! Woof!

Happy Paw-lentive everyone!
This year paw-lentine I actually got a chance to spend sometime with my sweetheart Pritti @ Ikano. It's really nice of our mum to bring us out today as we have not met for quite a long time.

Hi everyone...
I would like to introduce Aunty Wag to you.

She lives in Batu Pahat, Johor and this is her first time here in KL for about 2 weeks with us for CNY. Aunty Waggy is very old (10+ years old), bad tempered, having nerve problem on 1 of her leg and 1 eye also cannot see very well. I'm given strict orders to be very very nice and gentle with Aunty Wag.
My sista and I was every nice welcoming her but Aunty Waggy attacked us! So unfriendly.
Pss... she also cannot get along with Joy! They fight so much and Joy bit Aunty Waggy's ear. Now Joy got a new nickname "Mikey Tyson Disasterous Joy". *ROFB*

I'm very happy today that daddy and mummy is bring me to the SPCA-Menara KL World Animal Day celebration. We reach KL Tower around 1pm and there are so many of my friends already there having lots of fun. Well, having fun is 1 thing but I'm suppose to be helping SPCA to gather some donations. So here we go... "Woof, Donate RM1 and get a piece of yummy cakes, RM10 for a bag of cookies..." After about 2 hours of work, we sold all the cakes and biscuits so the rest of the time we just hang around our booth area, the humans chit chatting while we doggies just begging around for some hugs and rubs...

Around 5pm, time to make a move home as my baby sista is still at home - she is too naughty and helpless to be left alone for such a long time. Since this is the first time me in KL Tower, I insist of having a picture of me with the KL Tower...

Helo everyone... Little Jolie here...
First of all, I would like to tell you that today I'm exactly 2 months old. Yup, I am born on 23rd August 2008.

Secondly, please ignore my brother's comment on me not being friendly. I do smile ok. Here's the prove...Sweet aren't I?

Thirdly, my brother is rather upset with me this morning as I took his toy without his permission. He complaint to mum but was told to share all his toys with me. Great! Now I can have any of his toys.

Benji today would like you to meet my new playmate a.k.a. my baby sista Jolie. Isn't she cute?
But she isn't friendly (all her pix she didn't smile) and doesn't want to play with me. Mummy said she is scared cause this is the first time she left her "bio" mum. Is ok sista, we are family now and me your BIG bro will take very good care of you and we are going to have lots of adventure together... well starting Dec cause mum said you are still too young to play with me. For the pass 5 days, I've been spending it at BJ's home coz mummy and daddy went on holiday without me again! I love this place a lot as I have lots of friends to play with but 5 days is a little too much. I miss mummy and daddy so as soon as they are here to pick me up, I followed them in and out closely just to make sure they remember not to leave me behind...
I'm so glad to be HOME!

Today is such a lovely day in Penang so mummy and daddy brought me to our usual beach for a swim. I'm so excited but when we arrived we saw this... What happened to my beach?
I was rather sad as dad said it is not very safe for me to play at the beach any more. I'm so cross, why do you humans has to do this to the lovely beach?
After a few minutes of surveying the place, dad found a small place for me so very carefully, we make our way down to the beach... just look at these stupid rocks!
Anyway, I'm glad that I had a good swim today...
Dad told me that I might not be able to come back here next time we in Penang (so sad) but daddy promise me that he will find another place for me so I gave my happiest post infront of this lovely beach for the last time.
Bye bye beach...

Since I love to go car car ride so much and I'm legally old enough to drive (3x7=21), daddy decided to teach me how to drive - the doggie style. Yippie...
Lesson #1: Sit in the driver's seat comfortably, ensure that your hands can reach the stearing wheels and adjust the mirrors so that you can see clearly...

Dogathon 2008. My first visit to this yearly event with my friends. We participated in a few games but the one that Benji loves the most is run run. I always go run run with daddy but this time, there is so many 2 & 4 legged friends, I'm so excited. Run quick daddy...
Althought we didn't win but I had great fun. After we finish our participation of games, we walk walk around to taking pictures...

It's my BARK DAY!
I'm so happy today as early in the morning, mummy and daddy gave me a really really huge hug and they bring me to Kuala Kubu Baru for a swim!
As you know I really really love swimming so I am really enjoying myself - best is it's only mummy, daddy and me so the whole river is just for the 3 of us. 100% quality time!

After 2 hours of swim, we head to grandpa's place. Then it's party time. Mummy brought a huge bark day cake from Aunty Li Ping just for me. Gosh, just look at it. It's so lovely, smells so good and I bet it taste even better...

Mummy, daddy and all my aunties sang me a bark day song and gave me lots of presents and really huge hugs until Joy got jealous. Then we munch the cake hungrily...

It taste so good that I ate half of the cake!
Oh yes, thanks everyone who for all your wishes and presents.
(I'm too tired to open the presents after 2 hours of swim, so I show you all what I get later, I need to sleep now)

I balik kampung this week and guess where daddy brought me too... Durian Orchard!

Today is a very sweet day for mummy and daddy and hey, for me, it's my first time entering a photo studio! Cool! At first it was rather boring so I just stay around watching people go in and out.

Later, all the smiles and "click click" and "flash flash" - too bad cannot show you any pictures as only 1 camera is allowed due to the auto lighting thingy but what I enjoy the most is in the afternoon where we got to Ulu Yam to take this...

... and, Benji was a "star" in me parents wedding photo album and everyone will remember me always... great!

I've been to "class" but I always wonder what a school looks like since a lot of kids seems to be going to that place 5 times a week. Today, my chance finally come and I'm officially invited to a school. Yes, Dog Scout members are invited to Sekolah Rendah USJ 12 in Subang not to attend class but to join-in the school fun fair!

Oh yes, it is so much fun to have so many kids to play with and we dog scouts also did our part to helping to raise some funds for the school by taking photos with the kids and sell them the photos. Here are some of my best "customers"...

Of course other than taking photos, the kids can so some basic obedient and agility fun with us...

and to entertain the kid's parents, we just sit around, do some tricks and look pretty. Some parents wish their kid(s) is as obedient as us!

For all my hard work today, I got a huge hug from mummy...

I haven't been to Ikano since last October, I'm extra happy today when mummy told me we are going to Ikano. Not much changes except some minor renovation inside. I spend some time with some juniors in their obedient classes before chilling out with mum and dad at Starbucks.
